The last of the Hugo nominated short stories has run at Escape Pod. I had the pleasure of soliciting and helping organize, schedule, and find hosts for each Hugo episode before Mur came aboard. It turned out that she was able to host the final episode, which brought a nice sort of closure to the Hugo stories.

I try very hard not to hate people but I think I might hate the author of Cinderella Suicide.  In the best way possible, of course.  Her story is one of the sleekest, baddest, most exciting stories I've ever heard on Escape Pod -- kind of steampunk with magnets and razorblades set in the penal colony of Australia.  A story that just makes me smile ( Read more... )
